Tango

Genes gave me sass, four legs, and an unstoppable groove – let's Tango our way through life together!
Birth 2012
Sex Female
Death November 2024

L eft to fend for herself on the streets like so many other innocent pets before her, Tango has a genetically inherited deformation of her limbs, which was most likely the reason why her owners chose to neglect and abandon her. Having missed out on the care and attention that every young dog deserves, fortunately Tango doesn’t bear a grudge, and has already forgiven we humans for our selfish behaviour. With a heart of gold, her friendly nature attests to her unfaltering spirit, and her eagerness to please shines through in every action.

A quick learner, Tango eagerly embraces training, and when in the company of other dogs, her demeanour is peaceful and harmonious. Her ideal home would be one in which her new family are experienced with handling dogs, and can provide her with the love and guidance she deserves. With care and patience, this adorable lady will flourish into the perfect companion.

In early November 2024, Tango started looking dull and showed no interest in food. Her blood test revealed kidney insufficiency. With fluid therapy, she became more active, but her renal values did not improve. When her condition started to deteriorate, we took the hard decision to put her to sleep on the 24th. We are grateful to have given her a few happy months during her senior years. May her soul rest in peace!
