S o forgiving and affectionate despite the suffering she had undoubtedly endured after a car hit her and left her for dead, beautiful Bindhi has a genuine lust for life. While her spinal injuries meant that she would never walk again, this didn’t dampen her spirit and she was determined to try and live life in the best way that she could. Bindhi is now an endearing and permanent feature of the kindergarten at our ABC and Rescue Centre, where she spends her days singing for her supper, snoozing in the sun and tearing around in search of humans on her walking wheels!
On July 17th, 2024, Bindhi showed signs of hyperthermia. She was stabilized quickly and we were happy to note that she bounced back to normal. However, the next day, her temperature dropped and she passed away despite all our efforts to revive her. We suspect organ failure that prevented her temperature from getting regulated. Loved and cherished by one and all, we deeply mourn her loss. We take consolation in the fact that despite all the hardships she endured as a pup, we could spend a few happy years with her. You will live in our hearts forever, Bindhi!
